Objectives of Research

Synthesizing new intermetallic double-/anti-perovskite and search for high ZT compounds, etc.

Create a state-of-art crystal growth facility to grow high quality crystals of oxides, sulfides, borides, semimetals, and intermetallic compounds using different techniques.

Facilities to fabricate quantum structure will be developed.

Focus will be given for high pressure work.

The supply chain of LHe and LN2 will be strengthened.

Theoretical studies pertaining to Meso/Nanoscopic Physics, Spintronics, BEC/Supersolidity, Polaronic Studies, Quantum Annealing, Non-equilibrium Lattice Models and decoherence, Directed Percolations, Turbulence, Magnetohydrodynamics, Random Resistor Model.
