| Abstract | : |
The talk will focus on introducing the task of Local Marking (LM), where some multipartite quantum states/unitary operators chosen randomly from a set of states/operators are distributed among spatially separated parties without revealing the identities of individual states/operators. The collaborative aim of the parties is to correctly mark (identify) the identities of the states/operators under the operational paradigm of LOCC. This task is distinctly different from the well known LOCC distinguishability and demonstrate a stronger manifestation of nonlocality without entanglement through the construction of globally distinguishable unitaries. The talk will also explore entanglement assisted marking of states, and the hierarchy of probes - entangled and product - in context of local marking with respect to the standard discrimination scenario. |
