| Abstract | : |
Disordered chiral systems with bipartite symmetry host a diverging density of states at zero energy whose functional form — Dyson or Gade-Wegner — is dictated by dimensionality and disorder type. Which form governs site-diluted systems has been debated for over a decade. Building on our earlier resolution of this controversy through statics, I present new results on the dynamical side: wave packet spreading that cleanly distinguishes the two singularities, a crucial and previously neglected role for wavefunction multifractality, and a phase diagram in the vacancy–bond disorder plane. Since these chiral hopping problems arise naturally in the description of certain frustrated magnets, I will discuss the implications for experimentally accessible probes, including specific heat, NMR relaxation, thermal transport, and neutron scattering. |
