The η/η′ system and large-Nc ChPT: A Lattice QCD Study

We compute the masses, decay constants and gluonic matrix elements of the η and η′ mesons in lattice simulations across four lattice spacings with the light quark masses reaching down to the physical point. A comparison is made to Large-Nc chiral perturbation theory (ChPT) predictions and the NLO low energy constants are determined.
