Dr. Chandrima Das, Associate Professor-F at the Department of Biophysics and Structural Genomics Division of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics has been selected as one of the recipient of National Bioscience Awards for Career Development. This is conferred in recognition of outstanding contributions of scientists below 45 years of age who are engaged in basic and applied research in Biological Sciences including Biotechnology, Agricultural, Medical, Environmental Sciences and other related areas. The award recognizes the significant contributions made by scientists in their respective domain research areas with potential for product and technology development. Each Award carries a cash prize, a citation and trophy along with research grant for a period of 3 years.
