Abstract | : |
TeV gamma ray astrophysics is the youngest discipline of astronomy which effectively started in 1989 with the detection of TeV gamma rays from the Crab nebula. With the current generation of detectors online, the field has made rapid progress in the last few years with numerous detections of galactic and extragalactic sources. I will speak about some of the recent exciting results from the field. I will also briefly outline the future endeavours taken up for the advancement of the field. |
