Graduate Students:
Our lab currently has opening* for graduate students interested to work on the application of cutting-edge analytical chemistry, molecular and systems biology tools to solve research problems related to cancer, metabolic syndrome, personalized medicine and public health. You will not only get the opportunity to learn the art of mass spectrometry-based metabolomic and lipidomic analysis but also how to combine them with gene and protein expression analysis to identify disease biomarkers and to elucidate the underlying mechanism. You may choose any of the following topics
1) Role of RNA modification and metabolic reprogramming in in tumor-microenvironement interactions.
2) Role of host-microbiome interaction in cancer and metabolic syndrome.
3) Mechanism of endothelial dysfunction and thromboembolism.
4) Identification of disease biomarkers and development of sensors for metabolites.

* Please note that all applications will be entertained through institutional selection procedure only. Candidates must qualify for the interview either through entrance exam (JGEEBILS, SINP) or GATE or UGC/CSIR/DBT JRF. Interviews are typically held twice a year. Please check the following link for relevant info:

Post-doctoral Fellows:
Highly-motivated applicants are welcome to approach us for postdoctoral positions. Aspiring fellows are strongly encouraged and will be supported to apply for their own fellowships. We support independent thinking and are committed to foster interdisciplinary research. Candidates with strong background in organic chemistry/biochemistry/bioinformatics (data mining)/molecular biology/cell biology/cancer biology are encouraged to apply.

Summer Students:
Our lab accepts summer students through the institutional summer program. Please visit the following link for more:
