Current Interests:
My research interest lies particularly in the understanding of human visual system through the study of bio-inspired computational models. Currently I am investigating the role/usefulness of Stochastic Resonance (SR) in human vision. I am also engaged in the quest for the usefulness of these computational models in medical image processing for computer aided diagnosis. Development of CMOS x-ray sensor for digital radiography is another area which I am currently pursuing.
