Important Notes
- The final Merit-List of candidates is displayed below for admission to the Post-MSc in Biophysical Sciences at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) for the session 2018-2019, starting from August 2018.
- The list is based on the performance in the interview held during 11 – 14 June 2018.
- For the Post-MSc in Biophysical Sciences, the number of seats for admission is 10. Of these there are five SINP Fellowships and up to five more positions could be availed through Extramural Fellowships.
- In the Merit List serial numbers 1 to 5 are offered SINP fellowship.
- Confirm your acceptance/non-acceptance by an email to pmsc.bio[AT]saha.ac.in at the earliest or latest by the 2nd of July 2018.
- If any of the selected candidate declines or does not respond within 2nd of July 2018, the vacancy will be offered according to the merit-list.
- Shortly after 2nd of July 2018, the extra-mural fellowships will be filled up.
- On receiving your confirmation of acceptance by email, an official letter with detailed information will be dispatched to your address of correspondence by the Registrar's office, SINP.
- Candidates are requested to update their Extramural Fellowship status at the earliest or latest by 2nd July 2018 by sending the Roll No., name, date of exam and a scanned copy of the Mark statement or award letter to pmsc.bio[AT]saha.ac.in
- For availing Extramural Fellowships at SINP, the candidate should have a valid fellowship for the full five years, starting from 1st August, 2018.
- After successful completion of one year Post MSc course in Biophysical Sciences you will be allowed to join as a JRF towards your PhD degree in Biophysical Sciences.
- The tenure of fellowship is strictly for five years that includes one year Post MSc course and four years of research work.
