The campus of the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics (SINP) is situated in Bidhannagar or Salt Lake which is located in the North-East part of city Kolkata (known as Calcutta). Bidhannagar is well connected by air  (through Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport, Dum Dum, Kolkata) and rail routes (through Howrah, Sealdah  and  Kolkata railway station) with all the major cities of India. The nearest bus stop to our Institute is 'Baishakhi'.

S.I.N.P. has lodging facility for our visitors in two different locations, Meghnad Saha Abasan-I (MSA-I) in AF-Block, Salt Lake and Meghnad Saha Abasan-II (MSA-II) , near Abhishikta Bus Stop/Ruby crossing, beside Eastern Metropolitan By-pass. MSA-I guesthouse is adjacent to the office campus, whereas, MSA-II is 14 Km away from S.I.N.P.
