My broad research interest is Topological Quantum Matter including the following topics.

  • Integer and fractional quantum Hall effects
  • Anyons: Fractional charge and fractional statistics
  • Edge modes: Transport and shot noise, edge reconstruction
  • Quantum Hall interfaces, interferometers, and collider platforms
  • Mesoscopic physics
  • Analytical echniques: Edge equilibration, conformal field theory
  • Numerical echniques: Metropolis Monte-Carlo simulations, exact diagonalizations
  • Quantum entanglement and information, quantum sensing, quantum materials and devices and hybrid quantum devices
  • Quantum magnetism and quantum spin liquid
  • Two-dimensional electron gas (GaAs), graphene and twisted/Moiré systems, Transition Metal Dichalcogenides (TMDs), optical lattices
  • Topological insulators and topological superconductors
  • Quantum anomalous and quantum spin Hall effects
  • Higher order topological phases
  • Non-Hermitian topological phases
