Baryon and Lepton number violation in nature

Baryon and Lepton numbers are conserved in the standard model of particle physics at the classical level. But there are reasons to believe that some combinations of baryon and lepton number violation should be there in nature. This has consequences to cosmology also. I shall mention some of the major contributions to this field by Indian scientists, including Palash-da.
