(a) Study of vapor deposited organic and nanocomposite films for organic electronic devices.

(b) Application of surface charging phenomenon for structural study of polymer and Langmuir Blodgett films.

(c) Structure and Swelling dynamics of water soluble polymer, polyelectrolites and nanocomposite films.

Instrumental Techniques:

X-ray and Neutron Reflectivity, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Near-Edge X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (NEXAFS) spectroscopy (Synchrotron based), Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS), UV-VIS, FTIR, TEM, XRD.

Theoretical modeling:

Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculation of DOS and XAS spectra of soft molecules.
