Abstract | : |
I shall present an overview of the field of cold atom quantum emaulation with emphasis on recent developments that have opened up possibilities of producing systems with gauge potentials (both abelian and non-abelian), and even synthetic dimensions. I will discuss physics of interacting fermions in these systems, touching up on a variety of novel states and phenomena such as rashbon condensation, fractional kondo effect, and ``baryon squishing'' in synthetic dimensions. |
