| Research Interests | (a) Development of new analysis schemes for grazing incidence x-ray reflectivity. (b) Developing new scanning probe microscopic (SPM) techniques to use SPM beyond topography such as: elastic measurements, chemical changes, fabrication of nano-structures, electrical and magnetic measurements at nano-scales. (c) Electrical and magnetic properties of nano-materials and bulk metallic alloys, transition metal oxides, biological samples, etc. (d) Magnetocaloric Effect (MCE) of certain rare earth intermetallic compounds, manganates, ferrites, oxides etc. (e) Nano-bio: Development of non-enzymatic bio-sensors, Biocidal activity using nanoparticle, elastic properties of bacteria etc. using AFM etc. |
