Growing Networks

Recently, found an an exact solution for
distribution of connectivity in growing networks.
First, we introduce an stochastic evolution rule which generates
a growing network.
Being stochastic, it captures various random phenomena, which are
always present
during development of any real-world network. In steady state
this model could be
mapped to an exactly solvable model namely Zero Range Process.
This mapping
enable us to find an exact expression of degree
distribution given any evolution
rule. Being exact, this relation could be inverted, so that for any
network with
given degree distribution we can find the evolution
rule . We could successfully
apply the formalism to find out an possible evolution rule for
protine-protine
interaction network of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae.
